Coca-Cola No. 1 in Japan with drinks galore, but not Coke

After reading the article about American's beverage consumption in a year and I was curious to know the difference of the Asian's beverage consumption. So I start to search on Google, "Japanese soft drinks consumption".

According to U.S. News, Coca-Cola has been the top one beverage maker in Japan for half a century. Coca-Cola has 850 different beverages in Japan. Consumers here are not craving for the bubbly drinks like Sprite or Fanta, their favorites beverages are  "Georgia" brand canned coffee, green tea, and orange-flavored water.

Japanese like to drink original flavor beverage such as, green tea, instead, American soft drink which contains high calories and fats.
